1. Who We Are

2. Data We Collect

Focus Universe is a fully offline app. All data is stored locally on your device using Android's standard storage (SharedPreferences). We do not operate any servers or databases.

The following data is created and stored only on your device:

• Display name and avatar selection (optional — you choose what to enter)
• Galaxy name (optional)
• Focus session records: date, duration, mission text, star type earned
• Experience points (XP), level, and achievement progress
• Daily streak counter
• Seasonal event progress
• Premium subscription status (stored locally after purchase verification)
• App Blocker: list of app package names you choose to block during focus sessions

None of this data ever leaves your device through our app.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

• No account creation or login required
• No email address, phone number, or real name
• No location data
• No analytics or usage tracking
• No advertising identifiers
• No crash reporting services (we do not integrate Firebase, Crashlytics, or similar)

4. Google Play Billing (In-App Purchases)

If you choose to purchase a Premium subscription, the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. Focus Universe does not handle or store any payment information (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.).

Google Play may collect data as part of the purchase flow, subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We only receive a confirmation token from Google to verify that a purchase was completed.

5. App Blocker Permission

The App Blocker feature requires the QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission on Android. This permission allows the app to read the list of installed applications on your device solely to display them in the App Blocker settings screen, so you can choose which apps to block during focus sessions.

This list of installed apps is never transmitted off your device, never stored in any external system, and never used for any purpose other than the blocking feature you configure.

6. Children's Privacy

Focus Universe does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Because we collect no personal data at all, the app is safe for use by people of all ages.

7. Your Rights & Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times:

• Delete your profile: Settings → Profile → Danger Zone → Delete Profile
• Delete all app data: Android Settings → Apps → Focus Universe → Clear Data
• Uninstall the app: removes all locally stored data permanently

There is no account to request deletion from, because we store nothing on external servers.

8. Security

Your data is protected by Android's standard app sandboxing. No other app can access Focus Universe's locally stored data without root access to your device. Since no data is transmitted to external servers, there is no risk of server-side data breaches.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we introduce features that change how data is handled (such as optional cloud sync), we will update this policy and notify users through an in-app message before any such change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
